The future of potato farming
The global demand for potatoes has been rising steadily. At the same time, potato farmers have to tackle challenges such as dealing with increasing disease pressure, growing with limited resources and, in general, producing ever more sustainably. Tour de Farm
On November 29-30, 2017, the Ambassador farmers of the Food Chain Partnership initiative between Bayer and Farm Frites visited the Bayer Campus in Monheim. Together, they evaluated the insights and outcome of the ongoing » Tour de Farm journey and set the focus for years to come. While visiting the Bayer R&D Campus, the farmers had the chance to discuss crop protection innovations with Bayer experts.
