Joining hands to bring innovation and sustainability in agriculture

At the GFIA Europe 2017, stakeholders along the value chain will discuss innovations in sustainable agriculture across all types of food production. The conference will take place on May 9 - 10, 2017 in Utrecht, Netherlands. In a special session, the Food Chain Partnership team will provide insights into its various initiatives and activities.
Last year’s Tour de Farm was a great success – with more than 170 visitors.

The Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture is the world’s largest series of events dedicated to showcasing innovations in sustainable agriculture. Through its Food Chain Partnership approach, Bayer is collaborating with numerous partners along the value chain to ensure food security and quality – and foster sustainable agricultural practices around the world.

In a special session at the conference in Utrecht, the Food Chain Partnership team will talk with attendees about farmer training and certification support concepts, about how integrated crop solutions contribute to sustainable production, and about a hands-on stakeholder engagement approach. The “Joining Hands to bring Innovation & Sustainability in Agriculture” session will take place on May 9 (2:30 - 4:00 PM) at the Open Innovations Theatre in the Jaarbeurs Expo Centre. Stephan Brunner, Global Key Relation Manager at Bayer Crop Science Division, and Birte Tschentke, Key Relation Manager at Bayer Crop Science Division, will host the workshop.

Admission to the session is free for all attendees. You can register here.
