Female leadership in agriculture
More often than not, agriculture is perceived as a male-dominated industry. Over the past few decades, however, women have had profound influence on shaping agriculture on the farm or in the research laboratory. Nevertheless, there is need for more women in agriculture.
Growing up with parents who farmed, Jenny Maloney, Food Chain Sustainability Manager at Bayer, has seen firsthand the huge developments in how food is grown and raised – and she has had the opportunity to work with many female leaders in agriculture.
