The Evolution of Organic Farming in the 21st Century
Around the world, organic fruit and vegetable sales have been increasing, particularly in Australia and the United States. But what are the challenges that organic growers face when trying to get a crop to market without synthetic tools to address pests and diseases?
By now, there is a wide range of organic approved products available to deal with pests and fertility. Nevertheless, there is still more need for technology and innovation for organic growers. Bayer has been participating in the organic market with a tool called Serenade®, which can be used to combat fungal and bacterial diseases.
